En 2018, Givenchy lance l'interprétation moderne de ce classique en collaboration avec le parfumeur François Demachy. La nouvelle Eau de Givenchy est un parfum hespéridé aux nuances florales et musquées.

L'idée derrière Eau de Givenchy est de capturer le parfum de l'été tout au long de l'année et d'évoquer la nature de cette saison. Des notes de fleur d'oranger, de brise marine et d'un bouquet d'agrumes, tels que la bergamote, la mandarine, le citron et l'orange, ainsi que de la verdure, sont basées sur les bois et le musc. François Demachy a créé ce parfum unisexe inspiré des jardins du manoir Clos Fiorentine d'Hubert dans le sud de la France, dans la ville de Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

Le parfum est présenté dans un simple flacon en verre qui reflète la pureté dans une teinte vert clair avec un bouchon blanc. Elle sera disponible en Eau de Toilette de 100 ml à partir de mai 2018.

This was very pungent, not resembling the light perfume of the original, which was my favourite everyday cologne. Made me feel nauseous. I would not advise anyone to buy who used the original one.

This was my favourite summer fragrance, during the 80s and 90s. I still have a cherished tiny drop of the original left, (the blue capped bottle.) Meant I could compare this tweaked formula to the original. The tweaked version is such a disappointed. It appears to be very one dimensional. It does have longevity but hours later, I can still only smell the top notes. IMO there is no depth to it. The original developed so much further. Opens up to complex middle and base notes, that created the clean, beautiful fragrance I loved. Why do they mess with what should be a classic fragrance? Needless to say, I will not be buying more.

Very disappointed with this perfume I had this perfume a few years ago and bought this one to replace it. It literally has no scent I don’t even get it on my clothes like I did the old one. As I started , very disappointed!!

This is as close to the original as you can get! The bottle with the blue cap. I did a lot of research, and though they changed the formula slightly, from the eighties, I still love it!
